We begin with a visit to the rice terraces of Senmaida. Resigered as Japan’s First Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System (GIAHS), Shirayone Senmaida exhibits the ingeniousness of locals who adapted plantations of rice to the uneven coastlines of Noto.

Following, we’ll visit Wajima Morning Market where you’ll find the best of local produce and the friendliest local merchants. Part of the charm of visiting a market such as this one is the conversations, friendly faces and stories among others.

For lunch, we’ll take you to the One Michelin Star Restaurant L’Atelier de Noto to enjoy a full French course Noto style using locally sourced ingredients.

Afterwards you’ll enjoy the rocky coast of the Sea of Japan and one of its breathtaking wonders: The Ganmon Cave.

On our way back to Kanazawa we’ll stop by one of the only three sand highways in the world in Chirihama Beach. If the timing is right we’ll enjoy a memorable sunset.
